The Quetzal Port Company (EPQ) plans to implement ports equipped with RFID technology with the aim of increasing the security and traceability of cargo in maritime containers. The use of the Boltex tool makes it possible to locate containers in real time, which leads to a reduction in time and associated risks. This exclusive system acts as a preventive measure against possible cases of forgery and fraud.

The system will be able to identify the location of cargo containers at gateways using antennas located on poles, with the purpose of optimizing port entry and exit operations.

Sesé invests 12 million in a new logistics center in Barcelona


The Aragonese company Sesé has acquired 25,000 square meters in Palafolls, Barcelona, to develop a new logistics center that will generate employment for approximately 100 people. An investment of close to 12 million euros is expected, with the completion of the facilities projected for the second half of 2024. This logistics complex will offer services for receiving goods, customs management, quality control and job training programs. Sesé manages more than 2,500,000 square meters globally, distributed in 73 centers and warehouses, with a team of more than 11,000 employees. During the first half of this year, the company's turnover experienced an increase of 25% compared to the same period of the previous year, reaching 510 million euros.
